In a report from ESPN, multiple teams are "open" to a potential trade for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor.
Will Indianapolis Colts' running back Jonathan Taylor be traded before the Nov. 10 deadline?
According to ESPN's Stephen Holder, "multiple teams would be open to a potential trade" for Taylor.
However, Holder adds the caveat that it "remains unclear" whether or not the Colts are ready to be heavy sellers at the trade deadline.
"The Colts are still plotting their next moves after Monday's firing of general manager Chris Ballard, with many around the NFL expected to gauge the team's interest in dealing some of its key players," wrote Holder.
The Colts currently sit at 2-4 on the season and fired GM Chris Ballard earlier in the week. But even so, Carlie Irsay-Gordon said in a statement following Ballard's firing that the Colts' goals for the 2026 season remain the same.
That said, how the next few weeks unfold with matchups against 5-0 Minnesota and 4-2 Jacksonville may end up largely dictating whether or not the Colts sell -- or how heavily they sell -- at the trade deadline.
Although the Colts did just sign Taylor to a two-year, $44 million contract extension just a few months ago, as ESPN's Dan Graziano noted, the recency of that deal does not make it impossible to trade the star running back.
