There are new former Iowa football players to talk about this week after their solid performances in Week 6 of the NFL season.
With a few teams featuring former Hawkeyes with the week off, it gives us the opportunity to shed light on some other players that we haven't yet talked about this year.
Here are four former Hawkeyes who stood out in Week 6 of the NFL season.
Hooker and the Titans are no longer winless after taking down the Indianapolis Colts, 26-20, this week.
In the first quarter, Hooker intercepted a pass attempt by Colts QB Daniel Jones. He kept his feet in bounds, toe-tapping for his second pick of the year.
He also led the Titans defense with 13 tackles in the win.
While the Jags didn't win this week, falling to the Houston Texans in a game in London, Merriweather recorded seven tackles, good for second-best on the team, in his second game this season.
Merriweather entered the game after his teammate, Antonio Johnson, injured his ankle. Johnson was originally questionable to return, but ultimately did not re-enter the game.
Merriweather went undrafted after his career at Iowa, and first signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Bucs his first three seasons in the NFL, then played one game for the Texans before ending up with the Jaguars this year.
Black and the Steelers beat the Buccaneers in overtime, 26-19. In the win, Black recorded his first career sack and had two tackles.
He is in his second year with the Steelers, after being drafted in the fifth round in 2025.
Kittle scored a touchdown in the 49ers' 23-17 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday night. He had five catches for 69 yards.
