Bradford surrendered top spot in League One after they were held to a goalless draw at Burton.

A third draw in four league games - and second in three under new boss Michael Duff - left City down in third, behind Stockport and Huddersfield.

Albion skipper Curtis Tilt rose highest in the box early on but the former Bradford defender was thwarted by Bantams goalkeeper Jon McCracken.

At the other end Callum Connolly made firm contact with Ibou Touray's corner only for Kegs Chauke to head off the line.

Burton went close to the opener early in the second half when a long ball picked out the run of Caylan Vickers, but his lobbed effort was over the crossbar.

Bradford went close to the opener with 20 minutes left when captain Antoni Sarcevic let fly from the edge of the box but his venomous drive was somehow turned over by Burton goalkeeper Corey Addai.

McCracken produced an acrobatic save to push a dipping effort from Charlie Webster over the bar and the Bradford keeper had to make another crucial deny substitute Matty Dennis late on.
