The Baltimore Ravens were keeping it close against the Jacksonville Jaguars until quarterback Trevor Lawrence found Parker Washington over the middle, who took it all the way to the end zone for a 50-yard touchdown to extend Jacksonville’s lead to 17-3 just before halftime.
Here is a look at Washington’s touchdown, courtesy of the NFL’s official social media:
Prior to the touchdown, Washington only had one reception for 11 yards. It is also his second touchdown of at least 50 yards this season. His touchdown is also the second reception for the Jaguars of at least 50 yards. Rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher had a 52-yard reception to set up a touchdown from Bhayshul Tuten back in the first quarter.
Generating big plays has been the norm for Washington this season, who is averaging 17.0 yards per catch on the year.
With a win in this game, Jacksonville would ove to 6-2 and take an even more commanding lead in the AFC South. The Houston Texans are currently sitting in second in the division with a record of 2-5.
