Jeb Burton will have a new home for the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season. The 34-year-old driver announced on October 6 that he will join RSS Racing to drive the No. 22 Chevrolet full time, ending his four-year tenure with Jordan Anderson Racing.
Burton has competed for Jordan Anderson Racing since 2023, earning the organization's first victory at Talladega Superspeedway during his debut season. The Virginia native has two career victories in the series, both coming at Talladega, with his first occurring in 2021 while driving for Kaulig Racing.
The move carries special significance for Burton, as the No. 22 was famously driven by his father, Ward Burton, during his NASCAR Cup Series career. Ward captured five victories behind the wheel of the No. 22, including the 2002 Daytona 500. Jeb will utilize the same number font his father previously used.
Burton joins an RSS Racing organization that has continued improving its competitiveness. Ryan Sieg captured his first career NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series victory at Daytona International Speedway in August, giving the family-owned organization its second victory. Burton expressed excitement about joining the team, praising its recent progress and direction.
Burton currently sits 21st in the 2026 standings with three top-10 finishes. He will finish the season with Jordan Anderson Racing before beginning his new opportunity with RSS Racing in 2027. Additional details regarding his sponsorship lineup and crew chief have not been announced.
