The Boston Bruins are closing out their two-game homestand tonight.
The Bruins had the day off yesterday, but the NHL Department of Player Safety still dished out the maximum fine to Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov. They are back on TD Garden ice today, first for a morning skate, then for a 7:00 PM game against North Chelmsford native Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Elsewhere around the league, Shane Wright was traded to Nashville. The Kraken and Predators exchanged young players in a one-for-one swap. The Devils also flipped a recently acquired goaltender to Washington. There’s more on Dylan Larkin, Nikita Kucherov, and Quinn Hughes, as well as more history being made by Connor McDavid.
Happy Monday, catch up on Bruins and league news in today’s Daily Bean:
The Bruins and Golden Knights split their two meetings last season, with the home team winning each game.
Red Wings at Panthers – 7:00 PM
Avalanche at Blackhawks – 8:00 PM
Flames at Sharks – 9:00 PM (CA: SN+, TVA)
