Ross County have been handed home advantage in the third round of this season’s Scottish Cup.
The Staggies enter the competition at this stage, and were drawn against defending Highland League champions Brora Rangers in Dingwall.
Brora have already won two matches to make it to this stage, thrashing Rothes 9-0 in the first round before a dramatic victory away against Cowdenbeath after extra time yesterday afternoon.
Goalkeeper Cammy Mackay scored a stoppage time equaliser to force the extra 30 minutes, with the Cattachs taking full advantage.
The Staggies have reached one Scottish Cup final in their history, losing out to Dundee United in 2010 when second-tier football was being played in Dingwall.
Since earning promotion to the Premiership for the first time though, their record has not been great.
In the last seven seasons, County have only won one Scottish Cup tie, seeing them progress into the fourth round last season.
There, they were beaten by Premiership side Motherwell, however the Staggies’ focus was largely on trying to avoid relegation from the Championship.
This season’s third round Scottish Cup ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 28.
