The Panthers and Packers open Week 8 at Lambeau Field in a huge matchup for both teams.

Carolina is 3-3 and has a half game lead on the Falcons for first place in the NFC South. Green Bay is 4-3 and somehow sits in last place in the NFC North, a half game back of the third place Lions.

Both teams have shown tremendous potential, but also have shown serious weaknesses. The Panthers were 3-2 and then got absolutely thumped by the Bucs last week. The Packers won three straight before losing on a last second field goal to the Lions. Both need a win here to get back on track.
