Members of the team and Jaguars owner Shahid Khan visited the historic palace on Tuesday, Oct. 13
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the toast of London town!
Two days after the team’s dramatic 19-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, several players visited Buckingham Palace for tea on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Before entering the palace, players watched the Captain’s Inspection from inside the gates as a military band played the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” and a Stevie Wonder medley.
The delegation, including Jags owner Shahid Khan, then visited the Centre Room, also known as the Balcony Room, where members of Britain’s royal family are known to gather before they greet onlookers outside on the balcony.

During tea time, Khan reflected on his time in Britain.
“I was an immigrant from Pakistan who benefited from the education which the Commonwealth gave me and my family,” Khan said.
Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen, linebacker Foye Oluokun, long snapper Ross Matiscik, offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland and defensive tackle T.J. Bollers were among the players who joined Khan for the festivities.
In a video posted to Instagram, the players were seen admiring paintings and other furnishings inside the historic palace.
The visit was scheduled between the team’s win last Sunday and ahead of the Jags game against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Oct. 18.
Against the Eagles, the Jags were able to rally from behind and kick a last-second, game-winning 57-yard field goal.
The Jaguars improved to 4-1 with kicker Cam Little’s miracle, while the Eagles — including Jalen Hurts, who was playing with a blood clot — fell to 2-3.
