Octagon newcomer Lucia Szabova completely dominated in her UFC debut earlier today (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026) at UFC Vegas 123 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the former two-division Oktagon MMA champion smashed fellow women’s flyweight Tainara Lisboa with a third-round TKO (punches).

Based on the pre-fight odds, Szabova was supposed to run through Lisboa from the opening bell. There was a lot of hype surrounding her UFC debut, but Szabova still needed to show up and perform. There have been countless times when a UFC debut goes completely south from Octagon jitters or the step up in competition. Luckily for Szabova, she passed with flying colors.

This fight lasted deep into the third round, but it was dominated by Szabova every step of the way. “Silent Killer” wasn’t so silent with her takedowns, top pressure, and slicing ground-and-pound. It was surprising to see Lisboa last as long as she did, but Szabova eventually unloaded violent punches from top position in the final round to finally force the referee’s hand.
