There was no shortage of star power at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night!

Mariska Hargitay and Ben Stiller were among the celebs who stepped out for the New York Knicks’ season opener on Tuesday, Oct. 20 against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Knicks superfans Stiller, 60, Hargitay, 62, and Spike Lee sat courtside to take in the pregame festivities as Jalen Brunson and Co. received their NBA championship rings after clinching the franchise’s first title in 53 years this past summer. The Knicks, who downed the San Antonio Spurs in five during the 2026 NBA Finals, also watched their championship banner rise into the MSG rafters.

It’s been a summer to remember for the Knicks, who kicked off the championship celebrations with a parade down Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes in June. Two months later, the team reunited on Aug. 15 in Malibu, Calif., where star center Karl-Anthony Towns tied the knot with longtime love Jordyn Woods, whose statement orange bag became the Knicks’ “lucky” charm in the postseason.

Brunson, the face of the Knicks’ franchise, also celebrated his first NBA title with pivots to the small screen. Last month, he became the first-ever Knick to host Saturday Night Live on Sept. 26. He is also slated to guest star on Law & Order: SVU, which stars beloved Knicks fan Hargitay.

Tuesday night has been on Brunson’s mind for some time. Speaking to reporters after the Knicks’ final preseason game on Thursday, Oct. 15, the 2026 NBA Finals MVP grew emotional when envisioning the championship banner being raised.

“It’s gonna be a great night,” he said.
