A grueling 33-10 defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars may be all it takes to dismantle the Baltimore Ravens totally.

After Tyler Loop missed a 44-yard field goal as time expired in the 2025 season finale, costing Baltimore a playoff berth, the Ravens came into 2026 with a vengeance. Aside from running back Derrick Henry, the team has been plagued by injuries to star players and overall underperformance.

Now, sitting at 4-5 and bottom of an ultra-competitive AFC North, could general manager Eric DeCosta aim to sell ahead of the Tuesday, November 10 deadline?

Ravens May Make Major Changes As 2026 Season Continues To Slip Away

DeCosta has finalized a trade for 11-year veteran Jacoby Brissett to help fill the massive void left by Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

While it will certainly not solve all the club’s issues, Brissett’s 11-year experience will undoubtedly be better than the performance undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano gave in the aforementioned Thursday Night beatdown.

Regardless of how they play from now on, Baltimore may be slipping too far down in an AFC North division that even the Cleveland Browns are contending for. That said, is it possible DeCosta opts to move even bigger pieces and look toward the future?

During a segment of ESPN’s “Get Up,” the crew discusses Henry and his ability to make certain fringe teams instant contenders. Host Mike Greenberg asks NFL insider Peter Schrager the likelihood of the bell-cow backer reuniting with his ex-head coach John Harbaugh in New York [Giants].

“I don’t see it,” said Schrager. “My sense is this, talking to Baltimore’s sources: they have 12 draft picks in the upcoming draft, so draft capital doesn’t really do anything right now. They also play the Chargers, Panthers, Texans, Bucs the next four weeks. Those are winnable games. And they just traded for a quarterback; they traded for Cam Jurgens.”

Baltimore’s publicly traceable 2027 draft inventory does not currently add up to 12 picks, and the four opponents Schrager mentioned are the Ravens’ next four games rather than four consecutive weeks because Baltimore has a Week 13 bye.

Schrager added, “They’re not already in this selloff, fire sale mode. They are not Tennessee, they are not Indianapolis. That said, if there are calls about some other players they would probably be listening to some. I’m talking about guys who might’ve put themselves as veterans on the trade market themselves by the way that they’ve been performing in recent weeks.”

After describing Baltimore as potentially listening to offers, Schrager affirms his stance that Henry will remain a Raven.

“I do not see Derrick Henry being a piece of that,” said Schrager. “As much as Giants fans want to see Harbaugh and Henry reunited.”

Second in the league only to Detroit’s Jahmyr Gibbs, Henry continues to prove his worth at age 32 with 187 touches this season. Ranked in the top 11 running backs since 2021 using PFN’s NFL RB Impact metric, the 6-foot-3 bruiser finds himself ranked 16th in 2026.

However, most of that is likely not the fault of the five-time Pro-Bowler, as Baltimore’s offensive line ranks in the bottom half of the league as a whole.

Using PFN’s NFL Offensive Line Impact metric, we see they are among the worst in run blocking, with a 74.2 grade. Even worse, the line commits 2.4 penalties a game, one of the highest in the league.

While Schrager believes Henry will stay, the ultimate fate will be undetermined until Tuesday, November 10, when the NFL trade deadline alarm officially sounds off.
