This Sunday’s huge match has been handed a surprise pick as its referee.
Andy Madley will officiate the game and it will be his first ‘Big Six’ Premier League showdown in two-and-a-half years.
The Yorkshireman, who is in his eighth year on the top-flight reffing roster, last took charge of such a match in Manchester City’s 3-1 derby win over United in March 2024.
Michael Oliver is widely considered the top ref in the league but will instead look over Tottenham v Crystal Palace this weekend.
Madley will be joined by assistants Nick Hopton and Tim Wood with Stuart Attwell being the VAR.
