CBS Sports is the exclusive English-language home of the Champions League in the U.S., meaning Paramount+ ($9/month) will stream every Champions League match.
If you’re looking for a free option, you’ll need to start a free trial with DIRECTV. This will get you access to TUDN, but just a heads up that this channel is Spanish-language only.
As for a more affordable English-language streaming option, there’s Walmart+. For just $1, this subscription will get you access to your choice of Peacock or Paramount+, among its many other perks. Just be aware: this price point is only valid for 30 days.
Real Madrid arrive off a 1-0 win over Villarreal in La Liga. They also won their Champions League opener against Inter Milan and are on a five-game scoring streak, though they’ve also conceded in their last four away games.
Madrid have dominated this series, with eight wins in 12 meetings and five wins in six at the Olimpico. The last meeting was a 2-0 Madrid win.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s team has one point from the teams opening draw against Fenerbahce and sits 17th in the table, four places behind Madrid in 13th.
Roma are currently third in Serie A, within two points of Inter and Lazio, and they haven’t lost in seven games. With today’s game, they’re looking to bring some of this luck to the Champions League.
Madrid are without Eder Militao, whom Mourinho has ruled out of this game and the upcoming Sevilla match despite his return to group training. Vinícius Júnior is notably suspended for the next three La Liga games, but that domestic ban doesn’t apply to the Champions League.
For Roma, captain Bryan Cristante is a major doubt. If he misses out, Marten de Roon is expected to play alongside Manu Kone, with Niccolo Pisilli as another option. Konstantinos Koulierakis is also out with a leg injury.
All games will be able to stream via Paramount+.
