Roma suffered their first defeat of the season against Real Madrid in their second Champions League match.

After the match, Roma full-back Wesley spoke to TNT Sports.

Among the topics discussed was the task of stopping Vinicius: “I’m happy, it’s nice to receive a compliment from a coach like Mourinho. I just prayed to him and said to myself: ‘I have to stop Vinícius, I have to stop Vinícius.’ I was prepared and I’m happy with my performance.”

“I still have a lot to improve on, but I’m satisfied with my individual performance. I still have a lot to improve on, but I’m not satisfied with the team’s result, because we deserved to win.”
