Bengals trio of Burrow, Chase, and Higgins is putting up elite numbers

The Cincinnati Bengals have the NFL's best trio when it comes to the offensive side of the ball and their weapons. They put that on display this past Sunday in a win against the Tennessee Titans. The numbers speak for themselves.

Against the Titans, Joe Burrow threw for 462 yards and 5 passing touchdowns and scored a rushing touchdown, while Ja'Marr Chase caught 11 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown, and Tee Higgins caught 10 passes for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns. For good measure, Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki also caught 4 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Burrow is the second player in NFL history with at least 450 passing yards, 5 touchdown passes, and a rushing touchdown in a single game. He is also the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 400 passing yards and score 3 touchdown passes in eight games during a player's first seven seasons.

Burrow is the fourth quarterback all-time with at least 4 touchdown passes and a passer rating of 115 or higher in three consecutive games, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (2004 with Indianapolis), Matthew Stafford (2025 with the Los Angeles Rams) and Russell Wilson (2020 with Seattle).

He has thrown at least 3 touchdown passes in 33 career games since entering the NFL in 2020, making him the third player in history to do so in his first seven seasons. Burrow and Chase have connected for 54 career touchdowns, the second-most touchdown passes by a quarterback and receiver both under 30 in NFL history. Only Dan Marino and Mark Clayton have more with 65 touchdown passes.

Ja'Marr Chase has 60 touchdown receptions in 85 career games, making him the fourth player in the Super Bowl era with at least 60 touchdown receptions in his first 85 career games. Chase also has 12 games with at least 10 receptions, 100 receiving yards, and a touchdown catch, surpassing Michael Thomas for the most in NFL history.

Chase and Higgins are the seventh wide receiver duo all-time each with at least 10 receptions, 140 receiving yards and a touchdown reception in the same game, joining Miami’s Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle (Sept. 18, 2022), the New York Giants’ Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks (Sept. 16, 2012), Houston’s Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter (Sept. 19, 2010), Arizona’s Anquan Boldin and Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald (Nov. 16, 2008), Cincinnati’s T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson (Dec. 5, 2004) and Denver’s Ed McCaffrey and Rod Smith (Nov. 19, 2000).
