Six matchdays into the Bundesliga season, Bayern Munich is making its presence felt at the top of the scoring charts, with three players among the league’s leading goalscorers. However, the biggest surprise might be the name sitting alongside the usual suspects near the summit.

Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) leads the way with six goals and two assists, but Niclas Füllkrug (Werder Bremen) has matched his tally with six goals of his own. The German striker is enjoying an excellent start, putting himself firmly in the conversation among the Bundesliga’s most dangerous finishers.

Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) is third with five goals and two assists. His impact has been enormous, with the Frenchman combining individual brilliance with the creativity that makes him such a nightmare for opposing defenses. He is not simply a provider anymore; he is becoming a consistent goalscoring threat, too.

Younes Ebnoutalib (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Philipp Tietz (Mainz 05) have also scored five goals apiece, demonstrating that the race for the Torjägerkanone is not exclusively reserved for the Bundesliga’s biggest clubs.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) sits just behind them with four goals, but his five assists tell another story. FC Bayern’s English superstar continues to demonstrate that his value extends well beyond putting the ball in the net. His ability to create chances for teammates makes him central to everything Vincent Kompany’s attack does. His overall effort vs. RB Le

Luis Díaz (Bayern Munich) also has four goals and one assist, putting three Bayern players among the top seven. Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig) shares that tally, while Michael Gregoritsch (FC Augsburg) and Yuito Suzuki (SC Freiburg) round out the top 10 with four goals apiece.

That distribution is precisely what makes Bayern so dangerous. Opponents cannot simply focus on shutting down Kane when Olise and Díaz are capable of punishing them from either flank.

The season is still young, but Bayern supporters have every reason to be encouraged. With Kane orchestrating the attack and Olise and Díaz delivering goals, Bayern Munich has multiple routes to dismantling Bundesliga defenses.

The real question is whether anyone can keep pace with Bayern Munich’s firepower.
