Time, TV announced for Iowa football's game at Northwestern

IOWA CITY — Iowa football's game at Northwestern on Nov. 7 is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 pm CT.

The contest will be broadcast on FOX.

Iowa responded to a frustrating loss at Minnesota by thumping Wisconsin 30-0 on Halloween. Quarterback Hank Brown went 20-of-24 through the air for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Iowa's defense pitched a shutout for the third time this season. Caden Buhr made all six of his kicks, three of which were field goals, including a career-long 54-yarder.

Iowa and Northwestern enter the matchup with identical 6-2 records.

The Wildcats just suffered their second loss of the season, which came at Oregon by a score of 34-26 on Oct. 31. Their only other loss was by six points to defending national champion Indiana on Sept. 25. Northwestern holds power-conference wins over Colorado, Penn State, Rutgers and Michigan State.

Kirk Ferentz is 2-0 against Northwestern head coach David Braun. The Hawkeyes won on a game-winning field goal in 2023 and blew out the Wildcats 40-14 in 2024.
