Michael Olise is one of the most sought-after attacking players in Europe. The Frenchman has long since established himself as a key player at FC Bayern, attracting interest from numerous top international clubs. In addition to Real Madrid, Arsenal and FC Barcelona are also closely monitoring the 24-year-old’s situation.

According to the website FootballTransfers, Arsenal is closely monitoring Olise’s contract situation with the German record champions.

The London club decided not to sign another winger last summer. Instead, club officials are apparently scouting the market while keeping a close eye on developments surrounding Olise.

However, a potential move to England does not appear to be the French international’s preferred option.

Real Madrid is considered Olise’s preferred destination.

According to FootballTransfers, should Olise leave Bayern Munich, he would be more inclined to move to Spain. Real Madrid, in particular, is reportedly increasingly seen as the attacking star’s preferred transfer destination.

The club has been monitoring the international transfer market for quite some time and could view Olise as an interesting addition to their offense.

FC Barcelona is also said to be closely monitoring the situation. The Catalans reportedly want to be ready should a realistic opportunity to sign him arise.

Bayern wants to keep Olise long-term

For FC Bayern, the recent speculation is likely to be unwelcome. After all, Olise is one of the most important players on Vincent Kompany’s roster. With his creativity, goal-scoring threat, and exceptional one-on-one skills, the Frenchman has become an indispensable part of Munich’s offensive play.

Consequently, the record champions are very interested in securing the 24-year-old’s long-term commitment to the club.

Bayern is already exploring a possible contract extension, as sporting director Max Eberl recently confirmed. According to FootballTransfers, Arsenal is closely monitoring these very discussions.

However, no concrete negotiations between Olise and any of the interested clubs have been reported so far.

Nor has the Frenchman’s desire to leave been officially confirmed. Reports of his preference for Spain therefore by no means imply that a departure from Munich is imminent.

It will be crucial for Bayern to offer the star forward attractive prospects—both on the field and financially—over the long term.
