Jordan Love passes Brett Favre for multi-touchdown games to start season

The Packers have had three starting quarterbacks since Brett Favre replaced Don Majkowski in Week 3 of the 1992 season. Favre is in the Hall of Fame, Aaron Rodgers will get in on the first ballot, and Jordan Love is still crafting his legacy.

Love has had some special performances, and some solid runs. His three-touchdown performance on Thursday night gives him the second-longest streak of games with two or more touchdowns to start a season in Packers history, with eight.

Rodgers set the Packers record in 2011, with 15 straight games of two or more touchdowns. Favre had seven straight to start the 1995 season. Both won the NFL MVP in those seasons.

Love is currently at 25-1 to win the 2026 MVP award. On Thursday night, he completed 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

For the year, Love currently leads the league in attempts (312), completions (192), yards (2,246), and touchdown passes (16).
