The Washington Commanders were losing 23-3 to the San Francisco 49ers with under a minute left in the third quarter. But after quarterback Jayden Daniels threw a touchdown to Stefon Diggs just before the quarter ended, things started to get a little interesting.
Washington started the fourth-quarter by forcing the 49ers to go three-and-out and get the ball back to the Commanders. Daniels led Washington on another touchdown drive, capped off by a nine-yard touchdown pass to running back Rachaad White to make it a one-possession game.

The 49ers went three-and-out on their next drive, giving it back to the Commanders with slightly over half of the fourth quarter left, with a chance to take their first lead of the game. Washington really needs this win after the New York Giants got their fourth win of the season against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
