The Indianapolis Colts are looking to pull off an upset against the Minnesota Vikings, and while there is still a way to go in this game, they're off to a good start.
The Colts started off well on defense by stopping the Vikings on fourth and one in Indianapolis’ territory. Their offense also began strong, going down the field on a seven-play touchdown drive on their opening possession.
They converted two third downs on this drive before running back Jonathan Taylor broke loose for a 38-yard touchdown, which gave the Colts a 7-0 lead.
Here is a look at Taylor’s touchdown, courtesy of the Indianapolis Colts’ official social media:
This touchdown run is also a good sign for Taylor, who has struggled to generate those home run plays this season. His longest run of the year in the first six weeks was a 24-yard run, and he is averaging a career-low of four yards per carry.
If the Colts can get Taylor going, perhaps they can pull off this upset and string some wins together in the second half of the season.
