The Memphis Grizzlies are in the midst of an improbable run, behind the impressive play of Duke alum Cameron Boozer. After finishing with a 25-57 record a season ago, the Grizzlies are off to a 4-0 start, having defeated the Utah Jazz Monday night. During the win, Boozer was one of six players to finish in double figures for Memphis, ending the game with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block.
Thus far, Boozer's skills have caught the attention of his peers. Following the Grizzlies' massive fourth-quarter comeback against Golden State, Warriors forward Draymond Green revealed how amazed he was with Boozer's skills.
“I had no clue he could move the way he moves," Green, a former Defensive Player of the Year Award winner, said. "Also, that he could shoot the way he shoots. He’s very strong, doesn’t back down from a challenge, he talks out there on the floor. I'm very very impressed with him.”
Looking ahead, Boozer and the Grizzlies have two days off before a matchup in Portland Thursday against the Trail Blazers.
