Manchester City beat Ipswich Town 3-2 on Saturday to extend their 100 per cent Premier League record to seven matches. Phil Foden ended his goal drought on 19 minutes when he converted Jeremy Doku's cross. Moments later The Tractor Boys were level through Daizen Maeda.
Erling Haaland's header put City back in front at half time. With just over 20 minutes to play, Haaland added his second to seemingly put the game to bed. The Norwegian thought he had completed his hat-trick with just a minute of normal time remaining, only for VAR to rule it out for offside.
Incredibly, Ipswich broke up the other end and won a penalty, given after review, that Zian Flemming converted. The 12 added minutes ensured a nervy finale but City held on for the victory. While a positive result, it was not without negatives, particularly in regards to injuries. In total, five City players were left with injury concerns at the final whistle.
MEN Sport has taken a look at the injury concerns and when we could potentially see them play next.
Injury: Foot
Towards the end of the game, Haaland appeared to injure his foot and, shortly before the final whistle blew, he exited the pitch in discomfort and headed straight down the tunnel. In his post-match press conference, Maresca said: "I asked him and he said he was okay so hopefully it is nothing serious. We will see. I don't have any news at the moment. Erling said he was okay."
Potential return date: October 20 vs AEK Athens

Injury: Leg
Semenyo started on the bench against Ipswich, but came on in the 77th minute for Jeremy Doku. At the end of the game, the forward limped off and Maresca was unsure about how badly he was hurt. "The only one we need to wait on is Antoine."
Potential return date: Unknown
Injury: Groin
The full-back returned to the starting XI after a positive impact against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. During the second half, Nunes appeared to hold his groin and was forced to leave the game.

Injury: Unknown
Kovacic performed well in midfield during the first half, having a hand in Haaland's first goal. But at the start of the second, he went to ground and Maresca took no risks. Instead of going down the tunnel, Kovacic took a seat on the bench and Maresca said at full-time: "Kova said he was okay."

Injury: Back
O'Reilly came off on the hour mark. It did not seem like an injury at the time, but Maresca confirmed the youngster was struggling when speaking in his post-match press conference. "Nico is still his back. If you remember against Coventry. It's still the same problem," the head coach said.
