The Los Angeles Rams need reciever depth, and one ESPN analyst thinks they should look at the Washington Commanders to help out the offense.
Aaron Schatz wrote that Los Angeles should make a move for Washington WR Dyami Brown ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline to pair alongside Puka Nacua while Davante Adams recovers from his hamstring injury.
Brown is on a one-year deal; he would give the Rams a veteran field stretcher who could play some snaps while Davante Adams (hamstring) is out. And as an added bonus, he's lauded as a run blocker. McVay loves wide receivers who can run block.
Brown is 27, 6-foot and 195 pounds. He has nine catches for 94 yards in seven games this season, with two starts, 16 targets and a long of 48 yards.
Washington drafted him in 2021, and he spent his first four seasons there. His best year was 2024, with 30 catches for 308 yards and a touchdown. He had 20 catches for 227 yards and a touchdown with Jacksonville in 2025. For his career, he has 88 catches for 1,105 yards and five touchdowns in 84 games. His 28.6 yards per catch in 2022 (five catches, 143 yards, two touchdowns) shows the deep-ball ability Schatz described.
It's unclear if Brown is available, though, and what it would cost to acquire him. But considering the Rams lack receiver depth, it makes sense for them to at least look at some low-cost options if they want to save their season.
