The Dallas Mavericks have waived John Poulakidas from his two-way contract. Dallas also waived Seth Lundy from his Exhibit 10 deal. Lundy is expected to receive consideration for the Mavs now open two-way spot. He could also join the Texas Legends of the G League.

The Mavericks still need to make another roster move, as they are currently carrying 16 players signed to standard contacts. That's one more than the regular season maximum of 15 players. Dallas is reportedly looking to keep veteran center Dwight Powell, whose contract becomes partially guaranteed for $1.5 million if he's on the opening night roster. To keep Powell, it would necessitate another player being waived or traded.
