Ahead of tomorrow’s game against Bologna, questions have been asked about who will start up front for AC Milan.
In recent weeks, a new conversation has started, with Milan now unsure of who the second striker is. Ruben Amorim, before the season started, claimed that Francesco Camarda would be given the nod.
However, his minutes so far this season have countered that idea. He’s been a third choice of two options, with Alphadjo Cisse even given minutes as the striker ahead of him. As a result, there has been plenty of concern voiced about his future.
Speaking to Sky Sport this afternoon, Peppe Di Stefano provided an update on the injury situation – with Adrien Rabiot looking increasingly likely to be a late call in the derby – and who will start against Bologna, as Francesco Nasato relayed on X.
“Out Gila, Moreira and Rabiot against Bologna. Race against time for the derby. The doubts against Bologna could be Estupiñán or Diawara; in midfield, Musah, with possible rest for Modric and up front, who knows, it might be Cissé or Camarda’s turn.”
Considering who is next, Camarda may be best suited to getting the start here, because where else will his minutes come from…
