Five days after hitting a new low in a 6-2 defeat at Egham, the Moles ended their 10-match winless run by thrashing fellow South Central Division strugglers Littlehampton Town 6-1 in front of a stunned crowd at Hill Farm Lane on Saturday.
Manager Ross Weatherstone strengthened his team by bringing in Brandon Campbell, recently released by Bracknell, and Henry Mott, who scored a hat-trick, while CJ Fubler returned in goal.
Littlehampton, who had won only one of their previous 11 league games, took the lead through Harry Heath in the 13th minute. But the Moles kept creating chances and Mott, who has been playing for Hungerford, marked his debut by equalising in the 25th minute.
Whatever was said in the dressing room at half-time clearly worked. Henry put the hosts ahead in the 57th minute, and they extended with goals from Quincy Patterson, Jake Pickett and Campbell before Henry completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute.
Binfield, who are away to Hayes & Yeading next Saturday, remain at the foot of the table, with AFC Stoneham, Littlehampton and Ascot United immediately above them.
Ascot, who came from behind to beat Littlehampton 3-1 last month, crashed 7-0 at Ashford Town, who are skippered by former United player George Lock.
Debutant goalkeeper Vadym Patkevych, who was born in Ukraine, was beaten twice in the opening six minutes by Jack Arnold and Zidan Akers, with Arnold again and Alex Paine making it 4-0 by half-time. Arnold completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute before Ben Mulley and Elliott Poley completed a shocking day for the Yellas.
It is unlikely to get any easier for them, as next Saturday they host table-topping Bognor Regis Town, who suffered their first defeat in 12 league games last Sunday when losing 3-1 to Southall at Uxbridge, with former Binfield and Bracknell striker Liam Ferdinand netting the third goal.
