In recent times, the mood around Celtic hasn’t been great, but it hasn’t just been lifted by wins over Hearts and Motherwell in the Premiership.
Jota’s return from injury has put a smile on everyone’s faces, starting with his comeback against Motherwell last time out and then his home return against Hearts.
He couldn’t have asked for better circumstances because Celtic were leading 5-1 at the break when Martin O’Neill replaced Callum Osmand with Jota.
Speaking to his post-match press conference, Jota stated that he has no doubts that he will return to his best form, as he presented himself in an outstanding manner to the media.
“I was really happy,” expressed Jota on returning to the Parkhead pitch. “It’s a moment I was expecting for months. No better day to do it with a good result. A good performance and in front of our fans.
“It’s very painful (having to watch from afar) because you want to be inside there and help them. But you can’t. You don’t know when you will return again. You just need to rewire inside and see the positives.
