Breaking down the final New Orleans Saints injury report for Week 6 against the New York Giants. Who's in, who's out, and who has a chance to play?
We're breaking down the final New Orleans Saints injury report for Week 6's road game against the New York Giants. Who's in, who's out, and who has a chance to play?
LB Kaden Elliss (calf)
EDGE Anfernee Jennings (knee)
The Giants ruled out safety Tyler Nubin (neck), tight end Theo Johnson (neck), and cornerback Colton Hood (concussion).
WR Chris Olave (illness) didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but he was able to work on a limited basis during Friday's practice. He should play so long as that illness is behind him.
DL Nathan Shepherd (illness) also missed two days of practice with an illness that's been going around the locker room. He was limited on Friday as well.
CB Lorenzo Styles Jr. (knee) was limited on both Thursday and Friday, so don't be surprised if he's a game-time decision.
RB Alvin Kamara (back) practiced on limited reps throughout the week. The Saints didn't bring up either of the two running b acks on their practice squad so it does llook like he'll play.
LS Zach Wood (calf) returned from injured reserve and is expected to play. The Saints don't have another long snapper on the roster.
Starting offensive linemen Andrew Thomas (groin) and Jermaine Eluemunor (calf) are both questionable for the Giants, as is edge rusher Abdul Carter (calf).
DL Vernon Broughton (illness)
DL Davon Godchaux (not injury related/rest)
EDGE Tyree Wilson (ankle)
DL Colby Wooden (toe)
QB Tyler Shough (left hand)
OL Jeremiah Wright (concussion)
There's a crowd of Giants players available to play after being listed on the injury report this week: cornerback Greg Newsome II (groin), outside linebacker Malik Harrison (groin), defensive back Elijah Campbell (thumb), running back Najee Harris (ribs), tight end Isaiah Likely (foot), wide receivers Darnell Mooney (neck) and Charlie Jones (Achilles), as well as safety Jason Pinnock (concussion).
