The Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints squared off in Paris on Sunday in the NFL's first game in France with the Steelers coming out on top, 16-10. IT wasn't the prettiest performance but thanks to running back Jaylen Warren and kicker Chris Boswell, the Steelers now head back to the states sitting at 5-2 and on top in the AFC North.
Warren was the story on offense. Pittsburgh has found their feature back and best offensive weapon and Warren showed it with another huge performance. Warren finished with 101 rushing yards and 36 receiving yards. This is Warren's third game with at least 100 yards. Warren held things together while the passing game took a back seat.
Defensively, Pittsburgh locked down the Saints rushing offense and forced Tyler Shough to beat them. And the almost did. Shough outgunned Aaron Rodgers and, if not for a couple of timely plays, might have had a shot to beat the Steelers late in the game.
If Warren isn't your player of the game, it would be Boswell. Boswell went 3-for-3 on his field goal tries and given his struggles this year, this was a huge bounce-back game.
Next up the Steelers welcome the resurgent Cleveland Browns and hope to get some payback after losing to Cleveland earlier in the season.
