The sight of Erling Haaland hobbling off the pitch moments before the final whistle of Manchester City's Premier League win over Ipswich Town will be a huge concern to all Blues.
The striker, who scored twice to take his tally for the season to 12 in all competitions, looked tired as the game approached the final 15 minutes and it was something of a surprise that he wasn't replaced at 3-1 when Enzo Maresca made a triple change.
Haaland stayed on and could have had a hat-trick only to see a strike ruled out by VAR for an offside against Enzo Fernandez in the build-up.
City beat Ipswich 3-2 to extend their perfect Premier League record to seven wins from seven and after the game Maresca painted a positive picture of his star striker's fitness.
"I asked him and he said he was okay so hopefully it is nothing serious," said Maresca. "We will see. I don't have any news at the moment."
Haaland was the third of five City players to seemingly pick up an injury in what could turn out to be a costly afternoon for Maresca. Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes and Nico O'Reilly were taken off in the game with issues and substitute Antoine Semenyo then followed Haaland in walking gingerly off the pitch at full-time.
