The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks wanted to look dapper for the first NFL game in France.
Starter Aaron Rodgers, position coach Tom Arth and backups Drew Allar, Will Howard and Mason Rudolph arrived to Stade de France outside of Paris wearing suits, ties and flat caps ahead of their NFL Week 7 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
"By order of the Peaky Blinders," the team wrote in captioning its post about the coordinated outfits. It's a reference to the BBC show Peaky Blinders, which follows a fictional organized crime group in Birmingham, England, during World War I. The drama ran for six seasons from 2013 to 2022.
The connection to France is a little flimsy considering the show is British, but it's probably not a theme worth overthinking.
The suits and caps aren't the only fashion statement the Steelers are making in this game. The team will also deploy a new uniform combination.
They'll wear black Color Rush pants along with their traditional white jerseys. It's the first-ever use of that combo.
