Three Manchester City matches have been handed new dates

Three Manchester City games have been handed new dates as the Premier League confirmed their December schedule.

The Christmas fortnight fixtures had already been announced but the remaining December matches have also now been confirmed after the TV selections were made. And a trio of games for Enzo Maresca's side have altered as a result.

City will welcome Leeds United to the Etihad on Wednesday, December 2 and will kick off at 7.30pm, before facing a Saturday night trip to Brentford on December 5 with an 8pm kick-off. That will be a logistical nightmare for away supporters and is the second fixture in the capital moved to a night slot this season after the opening away day game of the campaign at Crystal Palace was played on a Friday.

The other change for City sees the home game with Maresca’s former club Chelsea moved to a 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday, December 12. All three of those matches will be shown live on Sky Sports.

City's game at home to Hull the following weekend remains a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, December 19.

The Blues are currently top of the Premier League with a perfect record after beating Ipswich Town on Saturday for their seventh successive victory in the top flight.
