Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts collides with mic operator after TD, checks on her with teammate Drake London

The Atlanta Falcons took a 19-14 lead over the San Francisco 49ers during the third quarter of their Week 7 matchup on a 5-yard touchdown catch by tight end Kyle Pitts Sr..

However, after catching the throw from quarterback Michael Penix, Pitts and 49ers safety Malik Mustapha collided with a woman holding a parabolic microphone near the left boundary of the end zone.

Pitts and receiver Drake London then checked on the woman to see if she was all right after being knocked to the turf. Several other Falcons players including Penix and Austin Hooper gathered around the mic operator in a nice display of concern for her well-being.

Once she appeared to be unhurt, Pitts celebrated the touchdown by spiking the ball in the end zone.

The TD catch was Pitts’ fourth of the season. He has 5 receptions for 22 yards in the game, increasing his total numbers to 20 catches and 191 yards.

Penix has thrown for 2 TDs versus the 49ers, completing 22 of 27 passes for 171 through three quarters. That gives him 8 TD passes for the season thus far in 5 starts.
