The Magpies conceded with virtually the last kick of the game against Worcester City, of the Southern Football League Premier Division Central, at Victory Park on Saturday.
Whoever wins the replay will travel to League Two outfit Colchester United in the next round.
Captain Mike Calveley’s first-half strike looked to be enough for Chorley but The Faithful forced a replay at the Sixways Stadium as Josh Ezewele bundled the ball home in the 93rd minute.
It was a huge blow for Andy Preece’s men and to make matters worse, goalkeeper Li-Bau Stowell picked up a second bookable offence for dissent and was red carded.
"It was so disappointing to concede with pretty much the last kick of the game,” said Preece.
"No doubt we were under pressure for that last 20 minutes. We were really struggling to clear our lines.
"To be fair, we put our bodies on the line, we got blocks in, saves, got a bit of luck. I don’t think we handled it as well as we could have. There were opportunities for us to get hold of the ball and get up the pitch, but we didn’t do that.”
Preece revealed there’s a possibility that Elliot Taylor could return this evening from injury, while Harvey Smith missed Saturday’s game through illness. Mark Ellis is unlikely to be available.
On Saturday, Chorley host Buxton in the National League North.
