The Tennessee Titans have cut Jordan Elliott following an “incident” at their team facility involving the defensive tackle.
On Tuesday, the Titans announced Elliott’s release, citing an undisclosed incident that occurred on October 15. “Following our review of the incident, we have made the decision to release Elliott from our roster,” an official statement read. “We will have no further comment on the matter.”
Back in March, the Titans inked Elliott to a two-year, $8 million contract that included $500,000 in incentives. The 28-year-old was inactive for Tennessee’s 26-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts after missing last Friday’s practice while "dealing with personal stuff," with fellow offseason acquisition Alontae Taylor also a healthy scratch for the contest.
