Emeka Egbuka has cleared concussion protocol, but will miss Sunday’s game with a foot injury

The Buccaneers will play without wide receiver Emeka Egbuka again this weekend.

Head coach Todd Bowles announced on Friday that Egbuka has been ruled out for their home matchup with the Falcons. Bowles said that Egbuka has cleared concussion protocol, but a foot injury will keep him from playing against their NFC South rivals.

Egbuka did not play in last Sunday’s win over the Panthers either. He has 28 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns so far this season.

Bowles provided a better update on safety Antoine Winfield. Winfield has missed the last three games with a rib injury, but he was a full participant in practice this week and is set to return to the lineup against Atlanta. Right tackle Luke Goedeke (calf) returned to practice and Bowles said he has a chance to play this weekend.
