Louis Saha doubts David Moyes will become Celtic manager, insisting the Scot remains highly valued at Everton.
Moyes has been linked with a potential move to Parkhead next summer, with speculation continuing over Celtic’s longer-term managerial plans.
Martin O’Neill is currently working on a one-year contract, although Celtic hold the option of extending that agreement for another season.

That leaves the club with a decision to make over whether to retain the experienced manager or move in a different direction.
Kieran McKenna has also been mentioned as a possible successor. He’s out of work after leaving Ipswich Town at the end of last season.
However, former Everton striker Saha believes Moyes is likely to remain at Everton rather than return to Glasgow.
Speaking to BettingLounge, Saha said: “Talk about Everton’s ownership changing doesn’t alter the manager’s standing. David Moyes is highly respected there.
“Whoever takes control of the club will see that David Moyes is a great option, loved by fans and players alike.
“For those reasons, I can’t see him going to Celtic. He’ll be at Everton for a long time.”
O’Neill remains in charge and has just overseen the Hoops’ emphatic 7-1 victory over Hearts after a run of poor results and performances.
The performance offered plenty of encouragement, but the question of who leads Celtic beyond this season remains open.
The option in O’Neill’s contract gives the club flexibility. Whatever decision is eventually made, supporters will want to see a clear plan for the team’s future.
Moyes’ name may remain part of that discussion, but Saha clearly believes his commitments at Everton make a Celtic move unlikely.
