Arizona Cardinals to face a struggling Denver Broncos offense

The Arizona Cardinals had their best defensive performance on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Can they have a repeat performance against the Denver Broncos in Week 7?

Denver's offense has struggled. It has one of the least productive units in the league.

The Broncos are 26th in scoring, averaging only 19.0 points per game. They are 31st in total offense, averaging only 252.6 yards per game.

They have failed to gain 300 yards of offense in five of their six games this season. They have scored under 20 points three times.

The Broncos' passing offense

With Bo Nix at quarterback, they are 28th in passing offense. Nix has a passer rating of only 79.4 with six touchdowns and three interceptions in six games. He averages only 5.6 yards per attempt.

They have only one offensive player with more than 200 receiving yards — receiver Jaylen Waddle, who has 22 catches for 228 yards and one touchdown.

Running back R.J. Harvey leads the team with 23 receptions, but he has only 163 yards, the second-highest total on the team.

The Broncos' rushing offense

They rank 26th in rushing offense, averaging 84.2 yards per game. They are 30th in rushing average, gaining only 3.4 yards per attempt.

Running back J.K. Dobbins leads the team with 270 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Harvey is next with 81 yards.

Arizona must capitalize

The defense held the Rams, who have one of the best offensive units, to under 300 yards. It was a great performance from start to finish.

If they struggle against this bad Broncos offense, then we will know last Sunday was a one-off, an aberration.

They must keep the Denver offense looking anemic.
