Leicester City set to learn FA Cup first round opponents as non-league sides await
FA Cup
The FA Cup First Round proper draw takes place this evening with League One and League Two clubs entering the competition. The draw is expected to begin at approximately 6.35pm, with television coverage starting at 6.30pm BST.
It will be available to watch on TNT Sports 1, with TNT Sports subscribers able to live stream the draw via the HBO Max app. TNT Sports are also streaming it on their official YouTube channel.
City will be one of the biggest pulls in the round, with plenty of non-league clubs putting their name in the hat over the weekend. Leicestershire non-league sides Harborough Town and Anstey Nomads are both present.
Harborough beat National League North rivals Spennymoor Town 3-1 on Saturday to qualify, while Conrad Logan's Anstey will host Macclesfield in a replay tomorrow night after drawing 1-1 over the weekend.
Some teams have reached this stage for the first time, including Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side AFC Rushden & Diamonds, founded in 2011. Tadley Calleva, Berkhamsted, Plymouth Parkway and Sholing also qualified for the first time.
Matches in the first round will be held across and around the weekend of November 7/8.
