Leicester City have won two games on the bounce in League One, and suddenly there is optimism among the fanbase.

Russell Martin’s side defeated Bromley 4-0 on Tuesday evening and now reside just a few points behind the play-off spots with a game in hand.

Leicester have three very winnable games before the international break and will be looking to make it five wins on the trot, starting with a trip to Luton Town this weekend.

The Foxes are now looking well-placed to be in contention for promotion, and they will hold an advantage over their rivals, which is going massively under the radar.

Leicester’s Seagrave facilities will allow players to recover much quicker than their rivals

In League One, it’s common practice to have a Saturday to Tuesday fixture list, so there are often only 72 hours between games to recover.

City beat Doncaster Rovers 2-1 on Saturday and then made the trip down to the capital just a few days later.

Martin was afforded the luxury of naming an unchanged team against Bromley, as clearly his players have access to all of the best recovery facilities at the £100m training ground.

Seagrave has been widely criticised for causing cultural issues at the football club, with many suggesting it’s too much like a holiday camp, but clearly it’s going to provide a huge advantage this season.

Bromley looked so tired and evidently went into the game with less physical capacity than the Foxes. That will be the case for a lot of teams that face Leicester this season, apart from perhaps the bigger teams with better facilities.

Even then, no side will be able to match Seagrave, and so City should win a lot of football matches on Tuesday nights as they’ll simply be a lot fresher than their opponents.
