Michael Carrick
Is Michael Carrick about to become the latest Manchester United manager to be shown the exit door?
Carrick headed into the Bournemouth game under enormous pressure following the dire defeat to Como in the Champions League. United looked lifeless and lethargic as they went down 4-1 to the Champions League debutants on Wednesday.
A response was needed and Carrick made a statement with his team selection against Bournemouth as he named captain Bruno Fernandes on the bench following his criticism of Carrick's tactics. However, the decision did little to spark a reaction.
United found themselves 2-0 down at half-time after yet another dreadful first-half display. Goals from Rayan and Marcus Tavernier had Bournemouth in control at the break, with United not even laying a glove on their opposition. Evanilson made it 3-0 in the second half to round off another miserable day for Carrick and United.
So, do you think it's time for Carrick to go? Does he have enough credit in the bank from last season to warrant more time? Or have the performances this season been so bad that he simply has to move on?
