After losing running back RJ Harvey to a knee injury that will sideline him for at least three more games, the Denver Broncos are expected to explore adding "a weapon or two" ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to KUSA-TV's Mike Klis.
Denver will obviously need to add another running back to the active roster, but in addition to being the team's No. 2 rusher, Harvey was also the club's second-leading receiver this season (25 receptions for 217 yards and one score). As such, Klis has noted that the Broncos could target "all skill positions," including tight end and receiver.
There are a host of running backs Denver could target in a trade (notably including Jonathan Taylor and Breece Hall). The list of notable receivers who might be available includes Brian Thomas. Meanwhile, at tight end, there have been no indications that the Arizona Cardinals would be interested in trading Trey McBride, but we do know that Broncos coach Sean Payton loves him.
We will track all of the latest trade news and rumors on Broncos Wire leading up to the Nov. 10 deadline.
