A new backstage update has emerged regarding WWE‘s plans for the men’s WarGames match format.
The 2026 WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event will take place at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, November 28, 2026. As it has been since 2022, the show will feature the men’s and women’s WarGames matches.
The usual format is a five-on-five for both WarGames matches. However, after witnessing the Bloodline and 946’s segment on this week’s WWE RAW, many speculated that this year’s men’s contest could be four-on-four.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE’s current plan as of Monday is to feature a five-on-five clash in the 2026 men’s WarGames match.
Dave Meltzer also recently reported that World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will compete in this year’s men’s WarGames match and that it would be a five-on-five contest.
The Bloodline’s lineup includes Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa, while Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price are there in 946. If Jacob Fatu returns in time for the event and joins his cousins, Keys’ group will need one more member for WarGames.
Fans also speculate WWE could book a mixed WarGames match this year. Jaida Parker could join 946, while a returning Naomi could side with her husband Jimmy Uso in the Bloodline. It will be interesting to see how the promotion goes ahead with the bout.
