Ahead of the game though, UCLA announced that they will be without WR Mikey Matthews, QB Nico Iamaleava, DB Rodrick Pleasant, WR Jonah Smith, WR Jalen Saint Paul, DL Ashton Sanders, OL Sam Yoon, P Curtis Gerrand and OLB Ryan McCulloch.
There aren’t too many surprises in this group but it will be a test for UCLA. The nine players might be all UCLA is missing, with the only other player listed on the injury report being Jordan Davis, who’s listed as probable for Saturday’s game.
Minnesota will be down five players for the game, with DB Garrison Monroe, RB Ryan Estrada, OL Brett Carroll, OL Ashton Beers and WR Hayden Moore all being ruled out. The Golden Gophers also have TEs Pierce Walsh and Julian Johnson being ruled doubtful. LB Mason Carrier and OL Nick Spence round out the injury report, being ruled probable for the game.
