Bournemouth & Leeds United early injury news as blows leave 4 out and 3 doubts but boosts have key men back
The early injury news for Leeds United’s next Premier League game at Bournemouth.
Leeds United will be back on their travels for their next Premier League game with the long trip to Bournemouth - ahead of which blows have left four players injured and two more doubtful but with key men now back.
Unlike Bournemouth, Leeds will have the advantage of a free midweek by virtue of having five days without a game on the back of Sunday’s goalless draw at bottom-of-the-table Sunderland which left Daniel Farke’s Whites seventh.
Bournemouth, though, now face a midweek Carabao Cup tie at home to Aston Villa hot on the heels of Sunday’s 3-0 win at Manchester United which lifted the Cherries up to 13th place.
Under new boss Marco Rose, Bournemouth failed to win any of their first six league games in which they took just three points from three draws but the Cherries now appear very much on the rise having won their last four games in all competitions without conceding a goal.
They do, though, have key men out or doubtful but also others stars now returning. With doubts about two key Leeds players but other Whites stars back, here we run through the combined early injury news from both camps which totals four out and three others doubtful but five others back.
1. BACK: Dominic Calvert-Lewin Calvert-Lewin was one of three Leeds doubts for Sunday's clash at Sunderland due to a bruised foot suffered in the previous weekend's 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United but the Whites no 9 started at the Stadium of Light and came through 85 minutes. | Getty Images Photo Sales
2. BACK: Anton Stach Stach was another doubt for the game at Sunderland having also suffered a foot issue on the back of facing the Red Devils but the German midfielder made the bench and made a quick welcome return as a 66th-minute sub. | AFP via Getty Images Photo Sales
3. Noah Okafor Okafor appeared by far the biggest Leeds doubt for the game at Sunderland having experienced adductor problems after the Roses derby, Farke admitting extra care needed to be taken with Okafor's issue as a muscular injury. 4. BACK: Dan James James was available for selection at Sunderland having had his first full week of training since recovering from a back injury but the winger was not selected to be part of the matchday squad. | Getty Images Photo Sales
