The bottom against top of the table contest predictably went in the favour of Real Bedford as they recorded a four-goal success at Stamford on Saturday.
The Pirates arrived at the Zeeco Stadium having taken 28 points from their opening 10 games of the Southern League season.
Three first half goals from Jordan Ponticelli, Josh Allen and Claudio Kiala gave them control of Saturday's Premier Division Central contest before Jack Morrell added a fourth after the break to leave Stamford with just one point from their first 12 outings.
The Daniels went into the contest on the back of a goalless home draw with Stratford Town last Tuesday night.
However, they fell behind after just 15 minutes when Allen slotted home the opening goal after Ponticelli had flicked on a corner.
The visitors were keen to add to their tally with Archie Jones seeing a shot saved by home goalkeeper James Goff while Ponticelli struck an effort against the crossbar.
The lead was doubled after 24 minutes when Ponticelli converted following an accurate cross from Callum Kane.
Visiting goalkeeper Craig King preserved the Pirates' two-goal advantage with a near post save before Allen had an effort cleared off the line at the other end.
A third goal a minute before the break effectively put the contest beyond Stamford as Kiala headed home a centre from Ben Stevens.
The Pirates maintained their momentum after the break with Jones firing a shot just over and Ponticelli seeing an disallowed.
The win was wrapped up with 20 minutes remaining as Morrell headed home from a Stevens corner to send Stamford to their 11th league loss of the season.
