Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba still has his footing as the NFL’s receiving yards leader through six weeks of the 2026 season.
Smith-Njigba has accumulated 717 receiving yards on 49 receptions across six games, averaging 119.5 yards per contest. He has also recorded seven receiving touchdowns on the season, and all of this has come by way of him having seen 65 targets thrown his way, making him a central component of Seattle’s passing attack. His production has established a significant early lead in the league’s receiving-yardage race as the Seahawks progress through the season.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave ranks second with 537 receiving yards on 39 receptions. He has recorded one receiving touchdown while averaging 107.4 yards per game. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb occupies third place with 507 receiving yards on 39 catches in five games, along with four touchdowns. Smith-Njigba holds a 180-yard advantage over Olave, giving him a comfortable lead entering Week 7. Production running consistent with what he’s produced thus far figures to strengthen his pursuit of the league’s receiving-yardage title as the regular season advances.
