Mark Attanasio also owns the Milwaukee Brewers, who are currently in the play-offs for the World Series, and the baseball team may be in action on Saturday, when the Canaries are due to pay tribute to their former majority shareholder.
Norwich City fans have been speculating whether Attanasio will be at Carrow Road for the commemorations, which will take place before the team kick off against Portsmouth.

Former players are expected to be involved in the events, while a period of applause will also be held to celebrate Wynn-Jones, who died at the age of 85 last month.
The Brewers are currently winning the best of seven play-offs against the LA Dodgers 3-0.
If they win on Friday, they will wrap up the series and guarantee a place in the finals.
But if they lose, they will then play a fifth game against the Dodgers on Saturday.

The current fortunes of Attanasio’s two clubs could not be more contrasting, with the Canaries having lost seven of their ten league games this season.
The club are now just one point off the Championship relegation zone.
Fans have been asking the owner on social media if he will be at Carrow Road on Saturday, with some questioning his commitment to the team.
The last Canaries match he attended was in February, against Birmingham City.
